About Discover Salzburg
Discover Salzburg grew out of a simple idea: to give visitors an alternative to crowded tour buses by offering private trips in their own vehicle with a driver who genuinely knows the region. What started as a small driving service for friends and acquaintances has grown into a reliable partner for visitors from all over the world who want to experience Salzburg and the Salzkammergut at their own pace.
From the very beginning, it mattered to us that a tour never runs on a rigid script. Whether it is an extra photo stop at Fuschlsee, a longer break in Hallstatt, or an earlier pickup time at the airport — we adapt to you, not the other way around.

Sedans
Comfortable vehicles for up to four passengers — ideal for airport transfers and city trips with the travel comfort you expect.
Vans & minibuses
Room for larger groups and families, luggage included, well suited for half-day and full-day tours into the Salzkammergut.
Winter equipment
During the winter months all vehicles run on winter tyres and are driven by drivers experienced with alpine conditions.

Every Discover Salzburg driver knows the area well, speaks multiple languages, and is familiar with the applicable regulations for commercial passenger transport. Regular vehicle checks and driving safety training are a matter of course for us — your safety is our top priority.
