Wolfgangsee is one of the best-known lakes in the Salzkammergut, not least because of the charming village of St. Wolfgang with its pilgrimage church and traditional inns right by the water. On the way there we pass Fuschlsee as well, so you experience two lake landscapes in a single afternoon. Those who wish can use the time for a ride on the historic Schafberg cog railway up to the summit, which offers sweeping views across the entire Salzkammergut region.
