The resort

Good to know about Fieberbrunn

Fieberbrunn is the Tyrolean village of the Skicircus, linked on skis with Saalbach, Hinterglemm and Leogang. By road, though, we don’t go into the Glemm valley at all: the route runs via Lofer and the Pillersee valley, so you arrive sooner than you would in Saalbach. Every year the Freeride World Tour stops at the Wildseeloder above the village.

  • Practice lift at the valley station and plenty of easy runs on the mountain

The Skicircus joins Saalbach, Hinterglemm, Leogang and Fieberbrunn into one area with 270 km of pistes and 70 lifts. A Ski ALPIN CARD adds the Schmittenhöhe in Zell am See and the Kitzsteinhorn glacier in Kaprun.

Getting there: After a short stretch through Bavaria near Bad Reichenhall, we drive from Lofer to Waidring and through the Pillersee valley to Fieberbrunn. Slip an ID card or passport into your pocket for the German part.

We’re coming for the Freeride World Tour — where can we watch?

The riders compete on the north face of the Wildseeloder, and the spectator area is right in the finish zone at the Wildalmen. The village gets busy on competition days, so reserve your transfer in good time.
