Werfenweng is all about soft mobility: the tourist board actively promotes car-free holidays, and the village is one of the Alpine Pearls, a group of resorts that make holidays without your own car easy. Arriving with us fits right in — we pick you up at the airport, and around 40 minutes later you’re at your door.

The Werfenweng ski area has 29 km of pistes and two ways in: the eight-seater Ikarus gondola, which reaches the Bischlinghöhe in six minutes, and the Dorfbahn Rosnerköpfl right in the village centre. The KID’S Snowpark at the Ikarus valley station has eight fun slopes and a covered magic carpet.

No — the village is set up for exactly that. We bring you, your luggage and your skis right to your accommodation; once there, you get around on the W³ shuttle.

How close to the airport is Werfenweng?

Not far: we take the Tauern motorway to the Werfen exit and climb up via Pfarrwerfen, 52 km in about 40 minutes altogether. That’s €155 per vehicle, or €280 with the return booked too.
