Kirchberg lies in the Brixental a few kilometres past Kitzbühel and has its own lifts into the KitzSki area. The KiWest lift also links it directly with Westendorf and the SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser–Brixental, so two big ski areas start from one village.

  • Ways into KitzSki from the village: the Fleckalmbahn and the Gaisberg chairlift
  • Floodlit toboggan run on the Gaisberg: 3.3 km

The Kitzbühel Alps stretch from Kitzbühel through the Brixental and the Hohe Salve area to St. Johann in Tirol and the Pillerseetal. Several big ski areas sit side by side here, KitzSki around Kitzbühel among them.

Getting there: The same way as to Kitzbühel, through St. Johann in Tirol and over the Pass Thurn road, then on into the Brixental. There may be checks on the Bavarian section near Bad Reichenhall, so please pack a passport or ID card.
