Good to know about Haus im Ennstal

Haus sits in the Enns valley a few minutes east of Schladming, right below the Hauser Kaibling. It is the easternmost way into the four-mountain ski circuit, and from here you can ski across to the Planai, Hochwurzen and Reiteralm. At the valley station, Wollis Kids Park gives children a big practice area of their own.

The four-mountain ski circuit links Hauser Kaibling, Planai, Hochwurzen and Reiteralm with 123 km of connected pistes, topping out at 2,015 m on the Hauser Kaibling. Ramsau and the Dachstein glacier belong to the same region.

How far is Haus from Schladming?

Just a few kilometres — Haus is on the same road, a little further down the Enns valley. From the airport it is 96 km and about 75 minutes, on the Tauern motorway to Altenmarkt and then along the Enns valley road. One vehicle is €290; split four ways, that’s €73 a person.

How do we get from Haus to the Planai?

On skis: the Hauser Kaibling is part of the four-mountain circuit, so there’s no need to take your skis off on the way. The ten-seater gondola on the Hauser Kaibling makes the switch to the Planai easy.

How many passengers with ski equipment fit in the vehicle?

Up to 6 passengers with suitcases and full ski equipment. Without skis up to 8 passengers. For larger groups we add a second vehicle.
