Good to know about St. Johann / Alpendorf

Alpendorf is St. Johann im Pongau’s ski village, a few kilometres above the town. The Alpendorf gondola takes you into Snow Space Salzburg, and from there you can ski on to Wagrain and Flachau. Of the three Snow Space villages it is the quickest to reach from the airport, at around 50 minutes.

  • Only about 15 km from the Pongau motorway junction

Snow Space Salzburg links Flachau, Wagrain and St. Johann-Alpendorf, with 120 km of pistes and 45 lifts. Add the neighbouring Shuttleberg Flachauwinkl-Kleinarl and Zauchensee and the total grows to almost 210 km served by 70 lifts.
