Good to know about Filzmoos

Filzmoos is a mountain village in the Salzburger Sportwelt, and from its slopes you look out to the Bischofsmütze and the Dachstein. The ski area isn’t large, but the runs are pleasantly quiet. Every January, hot-air balloons take to the sky above the village during balloon week.

Altenmarkt-Zauchensee, Radstadt, Eben and Filzmoos make up the Salzburger Sportwelt, part of the Ski amadé network. The valley villages are close to the Tauern motorway, so you are there in under an hour from Salzburg Airport.

Ski transfer Filzmoos: frequently asked questions

Is Filzmoos quick to get to?

Yes, it takes about 55 minutes: we stay on the Tauern motorway as far as Eben, and from there it’s only a little over 10 km up to Filzmoos. A vehicle is €220, and €395 if you book both directions together.

Isn’t the Filzmoos ski area rather small?

For relaxed days on the slopes it’s just right: the Roßbrand to the south and the Großberg to the north, without the crowds. If you want more variety, the SalzburgerLand tourist board says one of the bigger Ski amadé areas is only a few minutes away.

How many passengers with ski equipment fit in the vehicle?

Up to 6 passengers with suitcases and full ski equipment. Without skis up to 8 passengers. For larger groups we add a second vehicle.

How do I pay?

What if my flight is delayed?
